Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- Organizations of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea at all levels in the DPRK launched a socialist emulation for the improvement of low-yielding farm fields.
The UAWK organizations in South Hamgyong Province conducted a socialist emulation in a methodological way to increase the fertility of thousands of hectares of low-yielding fields.
Agricultural workers and UAWK members in North Phyongan Province transported large quantities of self-sufficing manure to farms and carpeted the farm fields with humus soil in a qualitative way.

Agricultural workers in Sariwon City and Junghwa County of North Hwanghae Province are improving the soil affected by cold and humidity and the acid soil through scientific application of self-sufficing manure based on field- and plot-specific soil analysis.
