Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- Modern villages suited to the requirements of the socialist rural development in the new century have been built one after another in different parts of the DPRK. Various farms in Soksa-ri of Pongchon County, Woldang-ri of Sinwon County, Kohyon-ri of Samchon County and Songo-ri of Sinchon County in South Hwanghae Province have been remodeled.
The rural villages with peculiar features of socialism and regional character are the cradles of all blessings brought about by the energetic leadership of the respected Comrade
Ceremonies of moving into new houses took place on the spots respectively.
Present there were Pak Thae Dok, chief secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Yong Chol, chairman of the provincial people's committee, officials of the Party and power organs of the province and relevant counties, officials concerned, officials of the farms, farmers and builders.
Congratulatory speeches were made at the ceremonies.
Licenses for the use of houses were handed over amid the loud applauses of the participants and oath-taking speeches were made.
As the people began to move into new houses, happy laughter and songs of the agricultural workers who became masters of new villages reverberated and cheerful dance was given.
Officials visited the owners of the new houses and congratulated them and shared joy with them. -0-
