Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- Officials of the youth league from across the country are touring the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu.

The officials of the youth league arrived at the Paektusan Secret Camp, the sacred place of the revolution, on February 15 after touring the Pochonbo Revolutionary Battle Site, the Rimyongsu Revolutionary Site, Konchang Bivouac and Chongbong Bivouac.

At the Sobaeksu Valley, they were excited, looking up to Jong Il Peak, which was shining with the courage and spirit of the brilliant commander of Mt Paektu.

The officials of the youth league across the country held a meeting for pledging to faithfully uphold the leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un at the plaza before the mosaic depicting the peerlessly great men.

Being led by Pak Myong Jin, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, the participants vowed to more dynamically advance toward a new horizon of a prosperous and powerful country, united close around Kim Jong Un who is demonstrating before the world the dignity and prestige of the DPRK as a powerful country.

At the end of the meeting, the participants went round the Paektusan Secret Camp.

At Chairman Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp, they looked round historic relics preserved with much care in boundless reverence for him who was born as the son of guerrillas and devoted himself to the country and people till the last moments of his great life.

On the same day, the officials of the youth league who visited the Sajabong Secret Camp keenly realized that loyalty to the leader, indomitable revolutionary spirit and strong fighting spirit displayed by the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners are the precious revolutionary heritages to be inherited generation after generation.

The expedition group of officials of the youth league from across the country is making a study tour of revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu, following the course of horseback march made by the peerlessly great man. -0-
