DPRK Players Return Home after Taking Part in New Taipei City Athletics Open 2026
Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- DPRK players returned home on June 9 after taking part in the New Taipei City Athletics Open 2026.
The athletics brought together at least 600 male and female players from 20-odd countries and regions including the DPRK, Taipei of China and Canada.
Pak Sol Gyong made a new record of the athletics and won a gold medal in the women's 5 000 race and Kang Ryon Hui came first in the women's 3 000 hurdle race.
Meanwhile, Kim Hye Song won a bronze medal in the women's 5 000 race.
At Pyongyang International Airport, officials in the sports sector and sportspersons greeted the players who demonstrated the honor of the country. -0-
