Yombunjin Coastal Park Inaugurated
Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- The area of Yombunjin renowned as a scenic spot on the east coast of the DPRK is presenting new scenery of regional development.
The completion of the Yombunjin Haeyang Hostel, which can accommodate hundreds of guests and has a cinema, shop, e-game hall, wading pool and other service facilities, and a bathing beach enables our people to enjoy socialist civilization to their heart's content at the cultural resort preserving charm and features peculiar to the coastal area.
The newly-built modern Yombunjin Coastal Park with diverse service conditions and environment is a monumental edifice which comprehensively reflects the people-first idea of the Workers' Party of Korea.
An inauguration ceremony of the Yombunjin Coastal Park was held on Jan. 21.
Present there were senior Party and government officials and other members of the central leadership body of the WPK, officials, working people and builders in North Hamgyong Province and Kyongsong County and employees of the park.
Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the North Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, addressed the ceremony.
The speaker said that the coastal park of peculiar style, which embodies the daily-improving Juche architecture and the aesthetic view of our era, was completed thanks to the noble intention and energetic leadership of the respected Comrade
Ardently calling upon all the people to more vigorously strive for regional development and cultural efflorescence and eternal prosperity of the motherland with one mind of patriotism, he declared the inauguration of the coastal park, hoping for the people's everlasting laughter in this transformed area and their happier future.
Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, cut the inauguration tape, together with officials and employees of the Yombunjin Haeyang Hostel.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round various parts of the Yombunjin Coastal Park. -0-
