DPRK Player Sets New Record at 20th Asian Marathon Championships

Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- DPRK player Han Il Ryong came first at the 20th Asian Marathon Championships.

The championships, held in China on March 30, brought together more than 70 men and women players from 19 countries and regions, including the DPRK, China and Mongolia.

Han Il Ryong renewed records of the Asian Marathon Championships with a record of 2 hours, 11 minutes and 18 seconds and won a gold medal.

Meanwhile, Ri Kwang Ok took the second place in the women's marathon and won a silver medal. -0-
