Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- DPRK players returned home on June 10 after taking part in the Chinese Taipei Athletics Open 2025.

The athletics brought together more than 600 men and women players from over 10 countries and regions including the DPRK, India and Australia. DPRK players Han Il Ryong and Ri Kwang Ok respectively won a gold medal in the men's and women's 5 000m races and player Jon Su Gyong silver medals in women’s 5 000m and 1 500m races.

The racers, who returned home after glorifying the honor of the country, were greeted at Pyongyang International Airport by officials concerned, officials in the field of sports and sportspersons. -0-
