Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- Electric power producers at the Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant in the DPRK have carried out their daily, every-ten-day and monthly production plans with their devoted efforts.

Through the intensified April 15 Technical Innovation Shock Brigade activities, the plant applied valuable inventions and rationalization plans, thus ensuring the normal operation of major equipment and raising the IT level in production management.

The workers and technicians at the fuel workshop introduced a device for coal separation through a vibrating screen to increase combustion rate and save a lot of manpower.

The heat producing workshop is ensuring the smooth supply of steam by taking measures to boost the number of days of equipment operation, and technicians of the turbine workshop are introducing inventions capable of activating the operation of the newly-established process to reduce the costs of electricity production.

The chemical and automation workshops are supporting the production of electricity by supplying distilled water and checking and repairing automated equipment. -0-
