Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- The Haeju Tractor Parts Factory in the DPRK is making progress in improving the quality of products and increasing production by dint of science and technology.

The factory established a process of producing various kinds of shafts including crankshafts with locally available raw and other materials, thus providing a guarantee for increasing production while saving a lot of costs.

The factory designed, manufactured and installed an automatic temperature control device of the heat treatment process suited to its specific conditions, thus putting a spur to the production of accessories.

The factory is striving to carry out its yearly national economic plan while making the production intertwined with science and technology. -0-
