Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the transmission sector are directing big efforts to ensuring the stability of power system.

Officials of the Transformer Substation Management Bureau under the Ministry of Electric Power Industry and relevant units are taking measures to readjust and reinforce the transmission system, reduce the transmission loss of electricity and make an effective use of the generated power.

The South Hwanghae Provincial Power Transmission and Distribution Station has finished the power line laying project in different counties after checking and repairing equipment in a qualitative way, thus supplying electricity to the agricultural sector.

The workers of the Pyongyang Municipal Power Transmission and Distribution Station are concentrating all their efforts on minimizing the damage caused by disastrous abnormal weather.

Similar successes are witnessed in South Hamgyong Provincial and Kaesong Municipal power transmission and distribution stations. -0-
