Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- The non-permanent central committee for promoting Regional Development 20×10 Policy in the DPRK is simultaneously pushing ahead with the construction of hospitals started this year and preparations for their operation in Kangdong County of Pyongyang Municipality, Ryonggang County of Nampho Municipality and Kusong City of North Phyongan Province.
The committee urged the builders to observe the principle of ensuring specialization and versatility peculiar to public health facilities and convenient for medical service activities at hospital construction.
Meanwhile, it has taken practical measures to rapidly supply materials and equipment needed for the construction of the hospitals in close contact with ministries and national agencies.
The committee has organized and developed the work to give passing-on technique according to specialized departments so that regional medical workers can acquire common notion of comprehensive modern medical facilities and experience in operating equipment.
Dozens of medical workers of Kangdong County, Ryonggang County and Kusong City hospitals will receive advanced diagnostic and treatment methods and clinical experience through modern medical equipment at the Pyongyang University of Medicine Hospital, the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, the Kim Man Yu Hospital and other central-level hospitals.
At the same time, they are attending medical technology lectures more than twice a week on the spots through the telemedicine system.
The committee has also taken measures to form the passing-on technique group with competent medical workers in the central city and provinces and to conduct patient treatment and passing-on technique at the hospitals in the city and two counties. -0-
