Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ri Chun Hong, a woman living in Neighborhood Unit No. 34, Namchongang-dong, Kaechon City, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK, on her 100th birthday.

The centenarian, who received the birthday spread amid congratulations of officials of the Kaechon City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and villagers, expressed her gratitude to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un with excitement.

Born into a poor peasant's family before the liberation of Korea, she had to undergo sorrow as a stateless nation. She keenly felt through her experience the gratefulness to the Party and the state which gave her genuine dignity and happiness after the liberation of the country. With a single mind to live up to them, she had voluntarily done good things for the sake of the society and collective.

Saying that our Party and our socialist country which make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people are the best in the world, she is encouraging her descendants to fulfill their duty at their revolutionary posts. -0-
